Program Overview
These terms cover the two ways to earn for recommending Ninja Watchdog. Every customer earns a free month for every person they refer, with no limits. Affiliates who join the affiliate program instead earn a 20% recurring commission on eligible referred subscriptions, tracked and paid through the Tolt affiliate platform, and can share a community code that gives their audience 20% off. A referral earns a free month or a commission, never both. By sharing a referral link or code, you agree to these terms and to the Ninja WatchdogTerms of Use.
Free Months for Customers
Your account page shows your personal referral link. When someone you refer starts their first Ninja Watchdog subscription through your link and makes their first successful payment, you earn one free month after a 7-day hold. Free trials, failed payments, renewals, plan changes, and returning customers do not earn another month. There is no limit on the number of people you can refer.
A free month is a credit worth one month of your own plan: your monthly price, or one twelfth of your annual price, after any recurring discount on your plan. It is applied automatically to your next bill while you have an active paid subscription that is not scheduled to cancel. Otherwise it waits in your account, does not expire, and is applied once you have an active paid subscription. Free months cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred.
The Affiliate Program
Anyone with a Ninja Watchdog account can join the affiliate program from the affiliate page by accepting these terms. Affiliates earn a 20% recurring commission on eligible referred subscriptions: 20% of every payment a referred customer makes, for as long as the referred subscription remains active and in good standing. There is no time cap. Commission is calculated on the amount the customer actually pays, after any discount.
Affiliates can request a custom community code. Customers who use it get 20% off every payment while their subscription stays active, on monthly and annual plans, and purchases made with the code are credited to the affiliate even without a link click. We review every code request and may decline codes that are misleading, use another company's brand, or are already taken.
Joining the affiliate program applies to referrals made from then on. Referrals you made earlier and free months you already earned keep their original terms, and your referral link stays the same.
Referral Attribution
A referral link or code is remembered in the visitor's browser for up to 30 days, subject to their browser settings. Attribution is fixed when the referred customer completes their first checkout: a community code used at checkout takes precedence over a referral link, and the most recent link click otherwise wins. Earlier referrals keep the attribution they already have. Referral identifiers are processed as described in thePrivacy Policy.
Commission Eligibility and Self-Referrals
Commissions and free months are earned only on eligible referred subscriptions. Self-referrals do not qualify for commission. They do not earn free months either. A self-referral is a purchase made through your own referral link, or a purchase made by an account that shares the same email mailbox as your affiliate account, including plus-address aliases such as name+tag@example.com. Using your own community code is also a self-referral.
One Affiliate Account Per Email Mailbox
Each email mailbox can have one affiliate account. A plus-address alias of an existing affiliate email, such as name+tag@example.com for name@example.com, cannot open a second affiliate account. If your affiliate dashboard reports an alias conflict, contactsupport@ninjawatchdog.comto resolve it.
Refunds, Disputes, and Fraud
If a referred payment is refunded before its free month is credited, the free month is canceled. Partial refunds, disputes, and refunds after a month was credited are reviewed; we do not charge you for a credited month automatically. Fabricated referrals, incentivized self-purchases, duplicate accounts, and other attempts to manufacture rewards or commissions are not allowed. We may reverse rewards or commissions created this way and suspend the account involved. Share your link where it is welcome; do not send unsolicited bulk messages or make misleading claims about Ninja Watchdog.
Payouts
Commission tracking and payouts are handled through the Tolt affiliate platform, with payouts made monthly. Tolt emails affiliates a link to set up payout details. If a referred payment is refunded or lost in a chargeback, its commission is reversed automatically, and a partial refund reduces the commission in proportion. If a referred subscription is found ineligible, the related commission can be reduced or removed.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Updates apply to referrals made after they are posted; earlier referrals and earned free months keep the terms they were earned under.
