Why we're partnering with Boxcar Trading
Ninja Watchdog is partnering with Boxcar Trading, a new futures evaluation and simulated funding firm launching its programs on October 1, 2026. Advance account purchases are open now.
For NinjaTrader traders, the appeal starts with the account terms:
- Pay once for the account. No monthly Eval renewal and no extra activation fee when you pass and qualify for funded access. Optional Eval resets cost extra.
- Keep 90% of approved payouts. Each plan has its own eligibility requirements and payout limits.
- Take time to pass. Evals have no completion deadline, subject to the inactivity rule.
- Choose your account structure. Four plans, each available with a $25K, $50K, $100K, or $150K simulated starting balance.
Four plans for different trading styles
End-of-day (EOD) drawdown keeps temporary open-profit peaks from raising your loss floor. The existing floor still applies during the session. Choose by drawdown, position limits, and payout rules before choosing account size.

The included VPS gives Watchdog a place to work
Select Boxcar's free Chicago Trading VPS before paying for an Eval or Straight-to-Funded account. You get a remote Windows workspace for NinjaTrader, strategies, and a copier, with one VPS per customer under the offer terms. Platform and third-party software licenses are separate.
Install Ninja Watchdog on that same VPS. Your trading platform can stay on the hosted computer while you access it from your devices, and Watchdog can monitor the NinjaTrader session there.
Recover the platform, connections, and strategies
Boxcar accounts use Rithmic and support NinjaTrader. Boxcar also permits automated strategies and copying across your own accounts within its rules. That makes platform recovery especially useful: a strategy can remain disabled even after the connection returns.
- Crash or reboot: Watchdog can relaunch NinjaTrader and recover the configured setup. Unattended reboot recovery needs Windows startup and automatic sign-in configured.
- Connection loss: Watchdog attempts to reconnect previously active accounts and restores interrupted strategies once the account and data are ready.
- Something needs attention: email alerts report recovery, trade and order events, and a computer that stops reporting to cloud monitoring.
Get your setup ready for October 1
Choose your Boxcar plan, select the VPS before payment, and install Ninja Watchdog alongside NinjaTrader. Follow the connection instructions in your Boxcar portal when account access becomes available.
Configure recovery around your trading schedule. Boxcar's session cutoff and plan-specific news restrictions still apply. Watchdog helps recover software; it does not enforce account rules or guarantee uptime, profits, or payouts.
Boxcar's Eval and initial funded stages use simulated funds. Qualifying funded performance can earn approved cash payouts; a later live-capital account requires separate selection and approval.
